The Last Transmission: A Traveller SRD one-page adventure

Back in 2015, I did a few things for Galaxy War 1939, a setting envisoned as a pulp sci-fi space opera using the years immediately before WWII as a basis. As a base system, I used White Star, a Swords & Wizardry-based sci fi game by James Spahn, which is a solid system.

Anyway, I wanted to see how easy it was to convert something over to a 2D space system (in this case the Traveller SRD), so here's a one-page adventure set on the world of Khalkin Gol in an interstitial area between the Dai Nippon Teikoku, the Soviet Star Empire, and Zhongyinguo (the Galactic Republic of China).

Can you survive the soviet Beastmen and Japanese laser bots in order to recover intelligence lost on the frozen world of Khalkin Gol!

The details of the systems, sectors, and technology are left up to the referee to figure out, but it was a fun little scenario with a built-in timer. The travellers don't want to be on the planet when the Japanese Laser Bots arrive!

The maps are by me (the surface of Khalkin Gol was bashed from a topographical map of Antarctica) made in Inkscape. Other artwork was photo bashed from various sources.

If you enjoy it, let me know. I'd love to explore that setting some more, and the 2D space system is much easier to build things like this.
