Greetings all of my grognardian friends. This is Mystic Bull’s first monthly OSR gaming newsletter. Why? I love the gaming community. It’s really the core of all RPG gaming: the positive interaction with folks. Shared delusion...illusion… you know. Games. My heart is still with AD&D 1st edition and B/X D&D; I always return to those styles of games because there’s a magic to them that I never get tired playing.
As always, let me know what you want to see and send me your news.

Mystic Bull's OSR Gaming Newsletter for November
I write every day. Whether it’s fiction, RPG stuff for publication, or for my home games. I always feel like I’m behind schedule on one or more of them. Always writing “5-minutes ahead” of my home group. This month is no different.
Design Journal. How do you engage the players in an encounter with just sensory details? I'm hoping I figured out a streamlined way to do it, because I hate boxed text.
Witch-Lords of Skull Mountain #2: The Malkova Wilds. I’m a little over half-way done with this publication (for OSE/BX, OSRIC, and other systems). Lots of random tables, new monsters, and adventure sites that can be used within the Witch-Lords campaign or broken out to your own. The Kickstarter is completed, but it remains in pre-order through December 1st. This will be the first OSRIC adventure I’ve published, so jump on!
OSR News. Things are always happening in Old School Gaming. Products, interesting blog posts, creators creating. This is the stuff that caught our eye this month.
Free Adventure! Undercaves of the Crawling Claw. I statted this one with OSRIC, but I’ll do an OSE/BX version if anyone is interested. It’s a short 6-room dungeon meant as a “secret level” to a larger dungeon or site. Go check it out.
